WILDLIFE CANDLE

I really liked the candle I did for Halloween, so I thought I would give it a try with another picture.  This time I printed a photo on the tissue paper.  The printer used only black ink, so I colored them in.  The one on the right is with watercolor pencils, the one on the left is with markers and the last one in the middle is with watercolor crayons. Another gift down for XMAS!
I hope you enjoy and give it a try for yourself.

HAPPY HAUNTING

I finally tried my hand at stamping on a candle.  Since this is the Halloween season, I thought I would try this design.  It was really easy and fun to do.  I will definately be doing more of these.  I have an idea to try one for a baby shower with a little choo-choo train.  The great thing is that you can still light the candle. The picture below is the same candle, one with flash and the other without flash.
Please leave me a message that you stopped by and I hope you enjoy!

TRICK OR TREAT BAGS

Here is the trick or treat bags that I made for Brennan's class party, Kaley and Zakary's teachers, my husbands employees and my co-workers.  72 bags later I am finally finished.  I started on these last weekend and finished them this weekend.  I wanted to ensure I had plenty of time to get these done and not rush. They are filled with goodies from candy, to straws to anything in between.
Please leave me a message and let me know that you stopped by.
I hope you enjoy!

WITCHING YOU A HAPPY HALLOWEEN

My very dear friend Susie and I got together last night to work on a few Halloween cards.  We have been planning this for a very long time and finally were able to make it happen. I could not tell you all the colors of the paper or stamps or anything else, because we were just grabbing new items, old items and anything else we could fine.  I will list a few items at the bottom of the page. Make sure and stop back tomorrow to see the treat bags that I made for the kids schools parties, employees for husband and my co-workers.
So here is to WITCHING YOU A HAPPY HALLOWEEN.
Please leave a message so I know that you stopped by.

MARGARITA BIRTHDAY

This is a card for a young lady at my husbands work who is turning 21! I remember the days. I hope she enjoys the card almost as much as she enjoys her birthday!

Happy Birthday Megatron!!!

I first stamped the margarita glass in basic black ink after stamping off one time.  I did not want it to be a dark color.  Then I colored it with the green galore marker until I got the desired effect.  I created the base of the glass to be a little darker than the drink.  Then I took the yoyo yellow marker and went over the green galore only on the drink portion to make the margarita stand out a little. They blended very well together.
After coloring it, I cut it out and added crystal effects on the whole thing except where the salt was to be.  While waiting for it to try, I inked up the lime stamp with yoyo yellow and then used a sponge dauber to go around the edge.  I wanted to cover most of the yellow up, but still leave a desired effect. I also used a little bit of crystal effects on the lime to give it a wet look. Once the Crystal effects was dry, I then put a light coat of glue on the rim of the glass and added the dazzling diamonds on the top of the glass and also along the card side.  For the background, I used a sponge and rubbed the color on to my desire.  I wanted it to be bright, but to blend in with the glass.  Kind of like a margarita sunrise!
For the card itself, I took a piece of 4 1/4 x 11.  I cut it down to 10 1/2 inches.  I measured in 3 1/8 on each side of the card.  Then on the right hand side, I measured from the top left to the bottom right. I cut that piece and folded it in to create a semi tri-fold card.
All supplies used are from stampin up unless otherwise noted.

HAPPY WOOF DAY!

I really liked this card and it is for a very special friend of mine for her birthday.  She has 2 dogs and they are such a part of her life. I know that this is very hard to see, but I colored the collar pink and added dazling diamonds.  Then the google eyes that are also green really go with the rest of the card.  I freehand cut the back of the card after folding it in half.  Then I turned it over to get an idea of where I wanted the roof to be.  I used the more mustard first, cut little slits to make it look like it had slats an then I adhered it to the forest green and mimicked the more mustard to have the same look.  The glitter letter came that way out of a package so that is why I mimicked the collar as well.  This is a card that I cased from flowergal36 on SCS.  I think my friend will really enjoy this card and I hope you enjoy it as much.
