PICTURE FRAME

A co-worker of mine happen to say that she loves zebra print with pink.
So it gave me this idea to make a frame of my own.
Hope you enjoy.

SUPPLIES:
Frame
Spray paint (black), frame was already white
Painters tape
Newspaper
Hot glue & gun
Feather boa

Since the frame was already white, I only needed the black paint.  Using the painters tape, I tore the edges to give it texture and not straight lines.  Put the tape on the frame in a direction of your choice.  Make sure the tape is secured down.  Put on a piece of newspaper and spray paint in a well ventilated area.  Wait for the paint to dry completely.  Remove the painters tape.  Hot glue the edge and attach the feather boa. Cute and simple project for any female.

CRAYON MELTING 2

Here is another crayon melting I did.  This time I used full BRAND NEW crayons that my son brought home for me.  I was so excited and he said "I knew you would be excited".  I so love my kids and how they think of me.  Not only did I use new crayons, but I also used my embossing heat tool instead of a blow dryer.  I like the way it came out better and it was quicker as well.  I hope you enjoy it!

CRAYON MELTING

I found a fun craft project on youtube for crayon melting.
I had to give it a try not only with canvas, but I also had to try it on a plastic picture frame.  On the plastic picture frame, I used crayons from the stash that were broken and I also used painters tape to create a torn edge look for the melted crayon to go around.  I kind of like how they turned out for a very cute kid picture.  The canvas one, I used a bunch of greens and I plan on doing one with cool colors (blue & purple) and one with warm colors (red, orange, yellow). I will show those when they are complete and when I get them on mounted on the wall as well.
I hope you enjoy it.

SUPPLIES: Crayons (broken from old stash), canvas, plastic picture frame, hot glue gun, glue sticks, painters tape, newspaper and blow dryer.

MARBLE SPLAT

My son has a birthday party to attend and they are going to a paintball experience.  None of the kids have done this before and they are all really STOKED as the kids say or as my son was singing this morning "I'M SO EXCITED, I JUST CAN'T HIDE IT!".  Anyway, I have had the stamp set for a while and not used it very much but really liked it for so many things.  I used the marble technique on the background of the card, then added the stamp images with lots of bright bold colors.
I hope you enjoy.

SUPPLIES:
PAPER: white card stock and white paper bag
INK: (re-inker) basic black , (stamp pad) basic black, yoyo yellow, real red, glorious green
brilliant blue (all from stampin up)
STAMP: splat (I really don't know the name, I picked up from Michaels, clear stamp set and did not
keep the paper with the name.)
MISC: cartoon newspaper to wrap the gift, cord like ribbon for the funky bow on top, marbles

TECHNIQUE: I did the marble technique.  Put re-inker drops in a plastic container, roll marbles around to get them all inked up, then attach paper to lid of plastic container. Close the lid, turn the container so the lid is on the bottom and begin to roll your marbles around to create a fun design on your paper.

RE-INKER & BUTTONS

Here is another card that I made for my daughters cheer fundraiser.  I used the reinkers once again.  This time I dragged a few different colors onto my plastic container back and forth to make a messy type of look.  I put my paper directly onto the colors.  Let it dry and then put some buttons on to match some of the colors.  Fun, quick and easy. Leave me a message if you like it.

SUPPLIES:
PAPER: white cardstock
INK: Stampin' Up re-inkers
MISC: buttons from my stash

FLAMINGO CHEER

Here is a card that I have made to help my daughters cheerleading group out with a fundraiser.  I will show more later.   I put reinkers into a holder and used them for many different looks, these will be shown later.  I was doing a lot of different backgrounds with the re-inkers of all colors.  For this one, I decided to use one of my stamps and dab it along in the colors.  The stamp was suppose to go on big wheel, but I used it just on a clear block.  I then put it on an orange / peach colored paper and decided it needed something more.  I had picked up several wood items from Michaels a few weeks ago...they were on clearance and I thought I would use them on a scrapbook page, but decided it looked really cute on this card for a fun FLAMINGO.  Hope you enjoy and leave me a message if you like it.

SUPPLIES:
PAPER: (from stash), orange/peach main image, white
INK: stampin up re-inkers of multi colors
STAMP: fiskars - it was suppose to go on a fiskars roller.
MISC: flamingo wood image

ELMO ST.PATRICKS DAY

I created another 2 page spread layout for the baby book that I am currently working on. This is for St. Patricks Day. I used the cricut cartridge ELMO & FRIENDS HOLIDAY!
THE LEFT SIDE
THE RIGHT SIDE

Supplies are mainly from my stash.  I did use flock on Elmo.  That is why his body looks like he tried shoving himself into a tight pair of shorts and vest...LOL.  I also used google eyes instead of the ones cut from the cricut.  I used the stamp set PINCH PROOF from Stampin' Up to put the words on the page in random motions.
