PURPLE WEDDING

This is a card that I made as a wedding card, but can easily be turned into a card for many occasions.  This one came from the Disney Classics cartridge with Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hater.  I cut off the candle, added the flower, the rhinestones, and glitter glue.  Not exactly where I thought I would find my cake, but it was fun coming up with another use for the cake.  I cant wait to use the actual cake with the candle.  I think a nice white cake, with 2 different colors of frosting trim for a childs birthday would be fun.

SUPPLIES:
STAMPS: NONE
PAPER: black, white, purple (recollections from Michaels)
CRICUT CARTRIDGE: Disney Classics (with alice n wonderland)
MISC: spellbinders, purple chalk, purple rhinestones, prima flower, glitter glue

RACCOON VALENTINE

Here is a cute valentine that I created from a design created by Bippity Boppity Glue.  I loved the Raccoon valentines she created so I used what I had to create my own.  I was able to use a lot of scraps from my stash.  I had to create 70 of these.  The Raccoon image is attached to a pillow box die and we put skittles and starburst inside for candy.
I hope you enjoy!

DASHER FOR THE TROOPS

A bunch of us at work are doing cards for the troops.   They will be signed and sent out by Friday 12/09/11.  This is through the American Red Cross.  I am pretty excited about this as it is a first time sending cards over to the troops.  I made them pretty simple since I was making a bunch of them.

SUPPLIES:

PAPER: was from my stash,  It has a marble effect if you look really close.  I used a vanilla and a gold.

STAMP: Stampin Up Dasher

MISC: Frame with oval shape, Big Shot, Stampin Up lattice emboss folder, Stampin Up gold emboss powder, versa-mark, heat gun, craft bond spray adhesive.

1. To create the oval in the center of the paper, you need to place the frame on the big shot platform not on the sandwich plate. put the paper in the embossing folder, then place it on top of the frame.  Now you put one sandwich plate on top of the folder and run it through the big shot.

2. Once the sheet is dry embossed, use the versa mark to stamp your image within the oval. Then emboss with the gold powder.

3. Spray the Craft Bond spray adhesive on the back of the image and attach within 15 seconds to your main card.  For the main card I used a yellow/gold and a vanilla color.

Please leave me a message letting me know what you think!
