CONGRATULATIONS_ YOUR PREGNANT

I have a friend that is wanting a card for her sister who just found out that they are pregnant. She was not looking for a normal blue/pink card, but something fun. So this is what I came up with. I cased the image from the SU mini holiday catalog that is available on Sept 1st. I did the wax resist on the multi-color paper.


SUPPLIES
STAMP: sweet centers
PAPER: rich razzleberry, bashful blue, glossy white
INK: rich razzleberry, pacific point, versa-mark
MISC: black embossing powder, wax paper, certainly celery ribbon from celebration, iron, big shot, embossing folder, sponge, scallop edge punch, plastic beads

WINTER POST CARD

WINTER POST is such a versatile stamp set and so fun to play with. This post is a total case of Barb Mann. She did such a wonderful job that I could not wait to do this one.

WINTER POST

WINTER POST is a stamp set that I got last year and I am still loving it. This card was cased from the SU catalog. I did use different colors and brads instead of twine. This will be one that we also do for my Holiday Card Club.

SUPPLIES:
STAMP: winter post
PAPER: rich razzleberry, soft suede, bermuda bay
INK: rich razzleberry, kiwi kiss (old in-color), bermuda bay, versa-mark
MISC: classy copper embossing powder (retired), sponges, fire square rhinestone brads, crop-a-dile, scissors, mat pack

1. Stamp reindeer image with versa-mark onto soft suede and emboss.
2. Stamp the snowflake image with versa-mark onto bermuda bay and emboss
3. Sponge the ink in a row over the reindeer image, use a soft cloth to remove any excess ink from the reindeer
4. tear the edges around this image
5. Sponge rich razzleberry onto the snowflake image, wipe off excess with a soft cloth
6. cut out image with scissors
7. adhere the reindeer and snowflake onto another piece of soft suede
8. punch 3 holes and add the rhinestone brads
9. adhere the piece onto a main image piece of rich razzleberry

DELIGHTFUL DECORATIONS

DELIGHTFUL DECORATIONS is another sneek peek from the holiday mini starting Sept. 1st. This will be one more that we create at my holiday card club. I was going for something with a little bit of elegance w/out using the normal red and green holiday colors.

PAPER: chocolate chip, soft suede, creme color (I would normally use very vanilla, but I ran out, so I grabbed the closet color from my old stash)

SWEET CENTER SNEEK PEEK

SWEET CENTERS are a sneek peek from the new holiday mini catalog available September 1st. These are so cute and fun to play with. I am using the Halloween stamp that comes in this set along with the sweet treat cups that will also be available on Sept. 1st. I plan on making these at my holiday card club, for my kids school party and also my husbands employees. The sweet treat cups can be filled with candy or fun confetti like what I have below. The 2nd image with the torn paper is one that my daughter created. Fun for kids and BIG kids alike! HOUSE OF HAUNTS 2

Here is wonderful card layout that I took from the wonderful Linda Heller at STAMPINGSCHOOL.COM. She actually did a Christmas card, but I am looking to do some Halloween cards for my HOLIDAY CLUB CARD. The Halloween stamp set (HOUSE OF HAUNTS) design I used on a card last year and did it just like what is shown below on the picture. FISHY FRIENDS N~ CRACKED GLASS

Let's go Jelly Fishing, My friend! Does this look like a jelly fish from Spongebob Squarepants? This is what my kids say...HMMMM! Either way, I cased this wonderful design from Marie aka card shark! I have not done the cracked glass in a while, so it was a nice technique to do again. I like the simplicity of this design, but you could most certainly jazz it up with more embelishments. Hope you enjoy and give this technique a try!

SUPPLIES
STAMPS: fishy friends, canvas (both are retired)
PAPER: whisper white, rich razzleberry, basic black
INK: rich razzleberry
MISC: versa-mark, glassy glaze enamel, mini glue dots, heat gun, blender pen, ribbon (not stampin up' this was from my old stash), sponge


1. stamp the canvas background on whisper white and sponge rich razzleberry around the edges
2. stamp the fish image on another piece of whisper white, sponge around the edges as well
3. take the blender pen and color the head and jelly legs
4. versa-mark up the whole image and pour on the glassy glaze enamel and heat to set
5. repeat the above step 2 more times, once complete put in the freezer and let freeze for about 10-20 minutes...depending on the freezer
6. Once the piece is complete, take out and start to crack away....CRACKED GLASS TECHNIQUE!
7. adhere the canvas page onto a piece of rich razzleberry, then wrap the ribbon around 4 times and tie into a knot
8. put the cracked glass piece onto a piece of rich razzleberry cs, then adhere onto the canvas piece using mini glue dots
9. adhere all pieces onto a basic black cs for the main page

HOUSE OF HAUNTS

I finally got this set (HOUSE OF HAUNTS), after looking at it for a very long time. Last year I did a card with this stamp set and I really liked it, but just never got it. Now it is all mine and I hope you enjoy this card.
I did case this from Michelle Redman. I liked the way she put the design together and she used wonderful colors.

SUPPLIES:
STAMPS: house of haunts
PAPER: whisper white, crushed curry, dusty durango, basic black
INK: basic black, crushed curry, dusty durango, soft suede, choco chip
MISC: 1-3/8" circle punch, ticket corner punch, sponges, brads


1. punch a circle out of scrap paper, use this for the placement of your moon
2. color moon with crushed curry
3. remove the paper and place the punched circle onto the moon
4. sponge with dusty durango 1/2 - 3/4 down from the top, make sure to dab around the moon as well for a depth effect
5. sponge on soft suede at the bottom
6. tear a piece of scratch paper and sponge choco chip along the tear in different areas
7. stamp tree to slightly overlap the moon
8. stamp the haunted house on dusty durango in basic black
9. sponge dusty durango around the edges
10. ticket corner punch the corners
11. sponge dusty durango around the edges of crushed curry
12. ticket punch the corners as well
13. adhere the house onto crushed curry
14. adhere to basic black
15. mark where to put the brads and insert them into the corners
16. adhere onto the tree image
17. adhere all pieces on to another piece of crushed curry w/ sponged edges of dusty durango
18. adhere all pieces to a main card of basic black

WAX PAPER RESIST

NEW TECHNIQUE, NEW TECHNIQUE, NEW TECHNIQUE....at least for me! I do not know if I have over looked this technique or what my mind was thinking, but OMG! how fun and easy was this. SUPPLIES:
STAMPS: holiday lineup, merry(retired)
PAPER: whisper white, glossy white, bermuda bay, rich razzleberry, barely banana
INK: INK PADS = basic black, ruby red, pacific point, bermuda bay, rich razzleberry, crushed curry, MARKERS = basic black, tempting turquoise, yoyo yellow, taken w/teal, real red, marvelous magenta, only orange
MISC: modern label punch, snail adhesive, stamp-a-ma-jig, wax paper, iron, clear acrylic sealer, sponges


1. I used the tech. instructions from SCS on the wax paper resist
2. Sponged ink onto the glossy paper
3. Spray with the clear acrylic sealer and let dry
4. Stamp and color the image on whisper white paper
5. Mount the image on color cardstock
6. Adhere all pieces onto the glossy paper
7. Adhere onto the main color cardstock

BBW BEARY BEST FRIENDS BOY

Here is the brother bear to little girl that I posted yesterday. Again BBW is coming to Stampin' Up September 1st! This is a sneak peek and a bonus for SU demo's. We can purchase the stamp sets early to be able to demonstrate these to customers. And also I did case this design layout from Karen Giron. I kept is pretty similiar to the sister bear card. SUPPLIES:
STAMPS: bbw beary nice wishes, bbw berry best friends, classic stripes (retired)
PAPER: whisper white, bermuda bay, soft suede
INK: basic black, bermuda bay (ink pads), basic black, taken w/ teal, blush blossom, creamy caramel, brilliant blue (stampin write markers), versa-mark
MISC: spellbinders petite scalloped circles, big shot, scissors, snail adhesive, scallop edge punch, dimensionals, stamp-a-ma-jig, heat gun, 5/8" choco chip grograin ribbon, vanilla hodgepodge hardware, clear ep, mat pack

1. Stamp and color image on whisper white
2. Cut of the image and one extra circle w/ the spellbinder circles
3. Using the stamp-a-ma-jig, place and stamp 3 ballons
4. Stamp 3 more ballons on another piece of paper, cut these out to paper piece onto the stamped images
5. scallop edge punch a piece of soft suede
6. layer on a piece of bermuda bay
7. wrap a piece of choco chip ribbon around these layers
8. stamp the classic stripes on whisper white with bermuda bay ink
9. adhere this onto a piece of soft suede
10. adhere onto the bermuda bay main card page
11. Using the hodgepodge hardware, put this into the versamark, then directly into the bermuda bay ink
12. sprinkle on the clear ep and heat emboss to set
13. stamp a verse from the beary best wishes
14. using the mat pack, mark where to put the hodgepodge hardware
15. pop dot this piece up on the front
16. adhere all remaining piece to the inside of the card with another saying from beary best wishes

INK: basic black ink pad, (markers): blush blossom, pink passion, basic black, creamy caramel
MISC: scallop edge punch, stamp-a-ma-jig, big shot, 5/8: grosgrain ribbon (from celebration), spellbinders petite scallop circles

1. Stamp bear image on whisper white
2. Color image and paper piece the dress
3. Using the spellbinders, cut and emboss with the circles for the white and pink paper
4. Stamp the balloon image and cut out the circles
5. Using the stamp-a-ma-jig, place where the balloons will go and stamp 3 balloons
6. Paper piece the circles for the balloons in a desired pattern
7. Scallop punch a piece of crushed curry
8. Adhere all pieces together
9. Add a strip of ribbon
10. Stamp the saying beary best wishes on the outside and happy bearthday on the inside
You are now done and have a very cute bearthday bear card!

RAZZLE DAZZLE

Here is card that I was just playing around with techniques and kind of liked it so I decided to keep it. The stamp set is RAZZLE DAZZLE and has a variety of uses. I hope you enjoy this card. If you would like to purchase this stamp set or anything else that I used in the tuturial, please go here.

SUPPLIES
STAMP SET: Razzle Dazzle
PAPER: Basic Black, Dusty Durango, Razzleberry Lemonade DP
INK: White craft ink, Rich Razzleberry, Basic Black, Stampin Pastels (chalk), Watercolor pencils
MISC: Photo corner punch, heat gun, Stamp-a-ma-jig, q-tips

1. Stamp image 4 times, using the stamp-a-ma-jig for placement with the white craft ink
2. Stamped the flowers in the corners and also one in the middle with craft ink as well
3. Heat embossed to set ink
4. Using the q-tips, I colored my image with the Stampin Pastels
5. Then use the Watercolor Pencils to add a few darker areas, it may be hard to see in the photo but it is really neat in real life.
6. Attach to a piece of Razzleberry Lemonade DP
7. Attach to a piece of Dusty Durango
8. Adhere 2 large photo corners in dusty durango
9. On the inside I stamped the saying from Razzle Dazzle with Basic Black (IT'S GOOD TO DREAM)
10. On the left side of the saying, I stamped the little flower with stem with Rich Razzleberry
11. All along the bottom I used the same flower as on the front (corners & center) also with Rich Razzleberry

CHIC BOUTIQUE

I am still loving this stamp set (CHIC BOUTIQUE)! The black and yellow color combo came from my daughters teen magazine, it had a picture of Paris Hilton wearing a black and yellow dress. This hit me that I had to create the dress forms using these colors. The orange was just an added bonus. The look that I was going for was a Boutique window! Hopefully you enjoy. SUPPLIES:
STAMP SET: Chic Boutique
PAPER: whisper white, basic black, crushed curry, dusty durango
INK: basic black (ink pad), basic black, yoyo yellow (markers)
MISC: mat pack, scallop edge punch, fire square rhinestone brads, pop dots




1. stamp image 3 times on whisper white
2. color in image with stampin write markers
3. adhere to basic black paper
4. adhere to crushed curry paper
5. cut a piece of dusty durango and scallop edge the bottom side
6. make 2 creases in the card stock. The first crease is the fold that will go at the top and the 2nd crease is just above the scallops.
7. using the mat pack, mark where the stone brads will be placed
8. insert the stone brads
9. adhere the top fold back against the card stock
10. adhere the pop dots to the 2nd fold to create a pop out look
11. I created the same look on the inside, with the exception of the Dusty Durango piece is just a flat service.
12. I stamped the saying from the Chic Boutique stamp set

SPOOKTACULAR

SPOOKTACULAR! It is getting close that time of year again to begin thinking about the holidays fast approaching. This is a card that I cased from card maker magazine. I did use different stamps and tools, but it was a good layout design.

SUPPLIES:
STAMPS: SU Baroque, misc stamps that I think I picked up for $1.00 a Michaels a couple of years ago.
INK: Basic Black, Dusty Durango, Crushed Curry, and a basic black stampin write marker
PAPER: Dusty Durango, Black & Whisper White
TOOLS: SU Photo corner punch, circle cutter, google eyes, sponges, scissors, crystal effects

1. using the photo corner punch, punch 3 times
2. cut a small square at the top of the middle piece to create ears
3. using crystal effects, I added the google eyes for full effect
4. using black ink, stamped the baroque on the side
5. adhere the photo corners to the top and bottom of the left side
6. added a 2nd photo corner of dusty durango for more depth
7. cut a circle of basic black and circle a size smaller of whisper white
8. stamped witch image in basic black
9. used sponges to sponge on the crushed curry around the witch
10. sponged on dusty durango around the dusty durango
11. adhered the image to the black circle
12. adhere to the card
13. on the inside I stamped the word SPOOKTACULAR and a couple of bats in the corner

MERCI CAS25

This stamp set is another one that I just had to have. VERY THANKFUL (FRENCH) is what I am using today for the CAS25 challenge. I made a set of 3 cards w/ envelopes for a quick and easy gift. 1. stamp image on whisper white cs 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" using bermuda bay stamp pad
2. ticket punch the corners
3. cut a piece of crushed curry cs 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" and also ticket punch the corners
4. cut a piece of melon mambo 1" x 3-1/2"
5. adhere all together on a piece of whisper white note cards 5" x 3-1/2"
6. stamp the merci beaucoup image on the inside

CHIC BOUTIQUE FITTING

1. stamped image on whisper white
2. colored image w/ stampin write markers
3. adhere to melon mambo cs
4. stamped saying onto melon mambo
5. used mat pack to mark exactly where I wanted the brads positioned
6. add the brads to image and adhere to the dsp
7. Card was so simple it took me less than 15 minutes to put together.

CHIC BOUTIQUE Z-FOLD 2

SUPPLIES:
STAMPS: chic boutique
INK: basic black ink pad, baja breeze, tempting turquoise, pacific point & basic black marker
PAPER: whisper white, razzleberry lemonade dsp
MISC: modern label punch, scallop edge punch, paper cutter, sponges, snail adhesive

1. cut whisper white to 4 1/4" x 10"
2. fold in half, then fold back 3/4 of the way
3. cut DSP to fit in each space
4. cut another piece of dsp (for inside)
5. cut whisper white piece to stamp image, and another piece for the inside
6. color image with sponging colors
7. using the black marker, go over the image just to make it appear darker
8. punch a piece of dsp and piece of ww from the modern label punch, add color to the ww as well
9. cut off ends of white and adhere to dsp
10. add scallop edge punch to dp / image
11. adhere all pieces together and you have a quick card for any occassion.

CHIC BOUTIQUE Z-FOLD

I have been wanting to use my CHIC BOUTIQUE stamp set since I got it, but things have been a little crazy around here. So today I saw the z-fold card from Susie and just had to give this one a try. If you would like to order this stamp set, please click here.
SUPPLIES:
STAMPS: chic boutique
INK: basic black ink pad, bermuda bay ink pad, (markers = orchid opulence, summer sun, yoyo yellow & tempting turquoise
PAPER: whisper white, razzleberry lemonade dsp
MISC: modern label punch, fire square rhinestone brad, snail, stampin dimensionals, paper cutter

1. cut whisper white to 4" x 10"
2. fold at 4 1/2" and then 2 3/4"
3. cut DSP to fit in each space 2 pieces of 2 1/2" x 3 3/4", 1 piece 4 1/4" x 3 3/4"
4. cut another piece of dsp 3" x 3" & 3 3/4" x 3" (for inside)
5. cut whisper white piece 2 3/4"x2 3/4" to stamp image, 3 1/2"x 2 3/4"(for inside)
6. color image and mount on dsp 3x3" paper
7. punch a piece of dsp and piece of ww from the modern label punch
8. cut off ends of white and adhere to dsp
9. add brad to modern label punch (use dimensionals)
10. adhere all pieces together and you have a quick card for any ocassion.
