SWEET CENTERS ORNAMENT

This is one more card that I have done for christmas. Everyone is getting a different one this year compared to the same one.
This looks really pretty in person but seems to be a little dull on the photo.
I used the technique from Patty Bennett here for the center. I sponged around the outside of the card and also on the impression to make the flowers pop.

supplies:
stamps: sweet centers (holiday mini 2009)
paper: whisper white, rich razzleberry, printed window sheets
ink: versa mark, rich razzleberry
misc: 1-3/4" punch, 1/4" ww grosgrain ribbon, embossing buddy, heat embossing gun, silver embossing powder, finial press textured impressions folder, sponge, glue dots, beads from old stash

WINDOW SHEET BOX

This is a window sheet box. My up-upline showed this to at our last group meeting. She used a clear window sheet and then embossed it. I currently do not have the clear window sheets, but I do have the polk-a-dot window sheets that came with the night & day specialty paper in the holiday mini. In the pictues I am showing it with nothing in it and the other one is with some fill paper. We thought this would be a great gift idea (candies, manicure set, tags, etc...).

supplies: printed window sheets (night & day specialty paper_holiday mini), box # 2, big shot, 1/4" whisper white grosgrain ribbon, bone folder, shiny fill

GODS BEAUTY

This is another great stamp set that I can never give up. Gods beauty is truely beautiful! This is for another birthday at my husbands work. I hope you enjoy it. I cased this whole image right down to the colors from LONDONBLUE from SCS. The only thing that I changed is the 2nd layer is put on the left side instead of the right. I liked how I stamped it, but when I cut it down, it seemed really quirkey.

supplies:
stamps: gods beauty (retired)
paper: basic black, whisper white
ink: basic black, old olive (stamp pad), summer sun, almost amethyst (stampin write markers)
misc: ticket corner punch, crystal effects

FALL FESTIVAL 2009

Tonight was the fall festival at the elementary school. All the kids got to dress up in their costumes (CAT IN THE HAT - CORPSE BRIDE - JOKER)! They played games, danced to the music, got a meal, entered the costume contest and we also went through the HAUNTED HOUSE!!! It was so much fun and something that we will always remember! This is just a couple of the pictures that we took. I took some individual shots and they turned out just as good. The individual ones actually show the good make-up job!
