MARGARITA BIRTHDAY

This is a card for a young lady at my husbands work who is turning 21! I remember the days. I hope she enjoys the card almost as much as she enjoys her birthday!

Happy Birthday Megatron!!!

I first stamped the margarita glass in basic black ink after stamping off one time.  I did not want it to be a dark color.  Then I colored it with the green galore marker until I got the desired effect.  I created the base of the glass to be a little darker than the drink.  Then I took the yoyo yellow marker and went over the green galore only on the drink portion to make the margarita stand out a little. They blended very well together.
After coloring it, I cut it out and added crystal effects on the whole thing except where the salt was to be.  While waiting for it to try, I inked up the lime stamp with yoyo yellow and then used a sponge dauber to go around the edge.  I wanted to cover most of the yellow up, but still leave a desired effect. I also used a little bit of crystal effects on the lime to give it a wet look. Once the Crystal effects was dry, I then put a light coat of glue on the rim of the glass and added the dazzling diamonds on the top of the glass and also along the card side.  For the background, I used a sponge and rubbed the color on to my desire.  I wanted it to be bright, but to blend in with the glass.  Kind of like a margarita sunrise!
For the card itself, I took a piece of 4 1/4 x 11.  I cut it down to 10 1/2 inches.  I measured in 3 1/8 on each side of the card.  Then on the right hand side, I measured from the top left to the bottom right. I cut that piece and folded it in to create a semi tri-fold card.
All supplies used are from stampin up unless otherwise noted.

HAPPY WOOF DAY!

I really liked this card and it is for a very special friend of mine for her birthday.  She has 2 dogs and they are such a part of her life. I know that this is very hard to see, but I colored the collar pink and added dazling diamonds.  Then the google eyes that are also green really go with the rest of the card.  I freehand cut the back of the card after folding it in half.  Then I turned it over to get an idea of where I wanted the roof to be.  I used the more mustard first, cut little slits to make it look like it had slats an then I adhered it to the forest green and mimicked the more mustard to have the same look.  The glitter letter came that way out of a package so that is why I mimicked the collar as well.  This is a card that I cased from flowergal36 on SCS.  I think my friend will really enjoy this card and I hope you enjoy it as much.

When I showed it off before handing it over, I had an instant order for 2 more. The other 2 were different colors. ( White, Black & Red), they all were so amazing. I am so glad that I purchased this stamp set. I am not sure who I CASED this iamge from. I saved the picture and forgot to save the name. I am so bad about that. So thank you to whomever created the first card.

OMG! How fun was this to make.  This is a fabric bag tag that I made for my son to put on his back pack for the upcoming school year.  I am planning on putting some fabric letters on here. I have made more just like these but am looking at a few different options for use. I will show you the girl one tomorrow. They are just too cute. My husband is going out of town on a business trip again, so guess what is going on the luggage this trip....you guessed it. These will now be used as our luggage tags as well.
